Jasper Slough Wildlife Viewing Platform construction

Willamalane Park and Recreation District is accepting sealed bids for work related to the construction of a wildlife viewing platform located along Mill Race Path at 3202 Jasper Road, Springfield, Oregon.  

Project Description: In general, the work consists of earth work, erosion control, installation of a new steel and timber viewing platform, and concrete sidewalks. Engineers' estimate for the site work under this contract (does not include owner-purchased items) is in the region of $75,000 to $100,000. There will be a pre-offer conference to review the project on April 18th at 3pm at the site. The conference is not mandatory, but contractors are strongly advised to attend. Construction is anticipated to start on August 28th, 2024 with Final Completion by October 4th, 2024. Construction has to avoid turtle nesting season.

Solicitation Documents may be viewed at Bob Keefer Center, and can also be viewed and downloaded from this webpage. Solicitation Documents will be available from April 12, 2024, to May 2, 2024. All bidders that download the Solicitation Documents must email the Willamalane Project Manager at simond@willamalane.org to confirm they have done so. This is to ensure that any potential bidders can be advised of any addenda that becomes available and needs to be downloaded.

Willamalane will accept sealed bids for the work, delivered to Bob Keefer Center, 250 S. 32nd Street, Springfield, Oregon, before 2 p.m. Pacific Time on the second day of May, 2024. Willamalane will publicly open bids on May 2, 2024, at 2:05 p.m. at Bob Keefer Center. Bids may be physically delivered or mailed to Simon Daws, Project Manager at Bob Keefer Center. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the project name. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. Submit your offer using the Bid Form provided. Willamalane reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid Form provided and accompanied by Bid Security. The contract is for a public works project subject to Oregon Revised Statutes 279C.800 to 279C.870 or the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. § 3141 et seq.). Willamalane encourages bids from minorities, women, veterans, and emerging small businesses.

Request for Quote: Outdoor Youth Summer Camp Provider

Willamalane is requesting quotes resulting in a one-year contract to serve as an outdoor youth summer camp provider. 

The services covered by this RFQ will include programming of up to nine (9) weeks of outdoor summer camp programming for youth. A week of summer camp is defined as a camp program that starts on Monday and ends on Friday focusing on a specific theme for that week. All aspects of skill instruction, curriculum development, behavior management, and participant safety will be managed by the contractor and will be detailed in a service contract and scope of work signed by both parties.
