Saturday Night Action

Teen Scene

Teen Scene is a once a month fun activity for teens. Disc Golf Clinic and Ice Cream Social

Try Frisbee golf on the field at Hilyard Community Center! The afternoon will begin with instruction from experienced and knowledgeable disc golf players. Participants will have the opportunity to try a game and throw discs while interacting with friends and community members. After the game, everyone will socialize and eat ice cream sundaes! Be a part of a recreational Frisbee golf club designed specifically for individuals with disabilities. Learn throwing techniques, course etiquette, and tour the courses in and around Eugene while improving your skills and socializing with friends. Circuit Training for the Physically Challenged

Co-sponsored by the city of Eugene Adaptive Recreation Program. This class will lead you through a circuit of exercises that focus on each muscle in the body. Using exercise machines and free weights, you work at your own pace and level. Learn how to perform each exercise safely and how to modify them just for you. Class is designed for people with physical disabilities. Class members should be able to move from station to station independently or bring an assistant. Registration Info

If you need disability accommodations for any Willamalane program, please alert a staff member when you register. Participants must turn in a participant information form prior to their first class.

 

You may sign up at the Community Recreation Center, 250 S. 32nd St., by mail or fax, or online at willamalane.org. Refunds must be requested two business days prior to the date of the program.

 

If you are a district resident, you may qualify for Willamalane’s scholarship program. Be sure to ask about it when registering.
