Half-Day Preschool:
Friendly Finches (Ages 3-5)

8:15-10:45 a.m. Age 3 by Sept. 7, 2010. A nurturing introduction to preschool. Children will enjoy story time, early literacy programs, art, creative movement and imaginative play. One field trip per term. Fees for December and June are prorated.

Half-Day Preschool:
Ready Robins (Ages 4-5)

11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Age 4 by Sept. 7, 2010. This class meets the growing needs of students who are ready for a five-day program, focusing on the skills necessary for success in kindergarten. Trained staff members work with children to expand reading, writing, science and math concepts. Children also enjoy art, creative movement and imaginative play. One field trip per term. The ratio of staff members to children is 1-to-10. Fees for December and June are prorated.

Preschool Registration Info

All children must be toilet trained prior to entering the program.

Please register in advance, in person, at the Community Recreation Center, 250 S. 32nd St., Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Online registration is available for child care after initial registration. A $35 registration fee for each child includes a T-shirt, membership packet and parent handbook.

Please bring a birth certificate and current immunization records for each child. Allow two days for registration confirmation.

Monthly fees include snacks, instruction and field trips. Out-of-district patrons add 20 percent to stated fees.

Sibling discount: 20 percent
