Venue Named Among Best in Oregon
With 300 acres of scenic filbert orchards and parkland, Dorris Ranch in Springfield is one romantic setting for weddings.
Brides and grooms can choose from two locations that pile on the charm: the turn-of-the-century Tomseth House and the rustic barn.
The park and its offerings received national recognition this month, when the bridal planning website Wedding Spot named it one of the Best of Oregon for 2017.
“Every year, we recognize the top venues across the nation through our coveted Wedding Spot Award,” the company said. “Out of 13,000 wedding venues on Wedding Spot, you were voted this year’s best of the best!”
Recent bride Megan Felton said her wedding at Dorris Ranch “turned out beautifully.”
“It was amazing, and more than I expected it was going to be,” Felton said. “If you want something that’s romantic and peaceful, Dorris Ranch is definitely the best.”
