Winter Solstice Celebration

Tomseth House at Dorris Ranch on a snowy day
Dec Thursday 21
2017
6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 21, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
Dorris Ranch, 205 Dorris St.
All ages. $6 in-district, $8 out-of-district

The winter solstice signifies the shortest day of the year and the longest night. Throughout the ages, solstice has been marked by different cultures through celebrations of light, feasts and music. Join us at Dorris Ranch for a family-friendly celebration of light with a campfire, storytelling, sweet treats and natural crafts.

Happy Solstice! We’re very excited to host this event tonight. Unfortunately, our tickets have sold out, and the barn will be at capacity and unable to accommodate any non-ticketed guests who may be hoping for no-shows. If you are on the wait list or otherwise do not have a ticket, we’re sorry to disappoint, and we hope you are able to find another way to celebrate the solstice. We’re already evaluating ways to accommodate more guests next year. Stay tuned!
