People who live within Willamalane Park and Recreation District’s boundaries — and those who own property within the district — pay the in-district rate for programs and classes. Those who live outside Willamalane’s boundaries pay the out-of-district rate. Created by voters in 1944, Willamalane is a special tax district, separate from the city of Springfield, with its own boundaries. District residents, who support our services through property taxes, enjoy lower program costs.
Check your address against the district boundaries, outlined below in blue, to determine your eligibility for the in-district rate.
