Island Park Gallery

Island Park Gallery is a two-dimension exhibition space with new artists rotating every three months. The gallery is located inside Willamalane Adult Activity Center.  We welcome artists of various styles and mediums to participate in our gallery exhibits.

Island Park Gallery  the first stop on the Downtown Springfield Second Friday Art Walk. After enjoying the exhibit, visitors can take a complimentary shuttle downtown to enjoy the rest of the art walk. The shuttle will run continuously until 7 p.m. Island Park Art Gallery is sponsored by Providence Health Plan.

“Throughout the Years” by Tinker and Gabehart

Exhibit: Feb. 6–March 28, regular center hours
Free reception: Friday, Feb. 8, 5-7 p.m.

Celebrate a rich history of 30 years of combined art education with Willamalane instructors Gloria Tinker and Ellen Gabehart. A variety of their favorite pieces will be displayed, as well as various subjects and mediums.

“Autumn at Willamalane” Photo Contest

Exhibit: April 3–May 30, regular center hours
Free reception: Friday, April 12, 5-7 p.m.

See the best photos captured within the district for these contest categories: nature of flora and fauna, Dorris Ranch, special events, and sports and activities. Photos are submissions from the Fall Photo Contest, and the winner will be featured on the fall 2019 Recreation Guide.

The “Autumn at Willamalane” Photo Contest is an initiative of the Willamalane Park Foundation.
