Island Park Gallery is a two-dimension exhibition space with new artists rotating every two months. The gallery is located inside Willamalane Adult Activity Center. We welcome artists of various styles and mediums to participate in our gallery exhibits.
Island Park Gallery the first stop on the Downtown Springfield Second Friday Art Walk. After enjoying the exhibit, visitors can take a complimentary shuttle downtown to enjoy the rest of the art walk. The shuttle will run continuously until 7 p.m. Island Park Art Gallery is sponsored by Providence Health Plan.
“Autumn at Willamalane” Photo Contest
Exhibit: April 3–May 30, regular center hours
Free reception: Friday, April 12, 5-7 p.m.
See the best photos captured within the district for these contest categories: nature of flora and fauna, Dorris Ranch, special events, and sports and activities. Photos are submissions from the Fall Photo Contest, and the winner will be featured on the fall 2019 Recreation Guide.

Kristin Hawke: Stained Glass
Exhibit: 6/5–7/31, regular center hours
Free reception: Friday, 6/14, 5–7 p.m.
Contemporary works add a modern twist to medieval techniques; scenic
and custom pieces incorporate natural elements. Stained glass art includes shells, rocks, and agate slices to transform the space with brilliant beams of light and color.
Meredith Ferrell and Kimmer Morrison: Themes of Nature
Exhibit: 8/7–9/26, regular center hours
Free reception: Friday, 8/9, 5–7 p.m.
Focus on the beauty and tranquility of nature as artists Ferrell and Morrison showcase birds, gardens, and landscapes. As friends for many years, they have tried many mediums, and the exhibit includes pastel, acrylic, and watercolor.
