Georgia Pacific Natural Area features a large natural area located just off the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. This 120-acre natural area provides habitat for resident and migrating waterfowl and is a great place to enjoy and view nature from the Mill Race Path and Middle Fork Path, which merge near the west end of the property. There is a beautiful overlook with benches that provide an exceptional view of a small pond utilized by waterfowl. Georgia-Pacific Natural Area is named for the previous owner, the Georgia-Pacific timber company.
