Willamalane fall programs are here! This issue of the Willamalane Recreation Guide is bursting with great ideas to keep you and your family busy all season long.

Read all about our new fitness equipment, make and play your own musical instruments, and take off running with the Willamalane Running Club.

Some of the rocking events we’ve got planned include, well, Rocktoberfest — plus PetFest, Carnaval Latino, The Great Costume Swap, Haunted Hayride, Turkey Stuffer and more. And then there’s the new Dive-in Movies happening at Willamalane Park Swim Center. Doesn’t that sound like fun?

It’s back-to-school time, which means it’s time to sign up for Preschool, Kids Club and Early Start. We’ve also got a fun lineup of No-school day fun, including new Dorris Ranch Discovery Bus programs. Middle-schoolers will enjoy the new Masquerade Ball and a great lineup of fall sports. And if you’re home-schooling, be sure to check out the new Homeschool Happenings programs, including  PE Sports Sampler, tumbling, climbing and more.

Do pickles pique your interest? How about cheese making? Our Urban Homesteading series is bursting with delicious ideas. And now you can even craft your own holiday gifts with classes on jewelry, needle felting, bath fizzes and more.

The beauty of nature bounds in Willamalane parks. Now you can see nature interpreted by some of the great masters of the art world in a special day trip to the Portland Art Museum on Nov. 4. If you’d rather paint nature yourself, check out Painting in the Great Outdoors at Dorris Ranch. Or use natural elements to create floral designs in fall and winter classes at Dorris Ranch and Thurston Flowers.

Remember, it’s now easier than ever to sign up online.

You can search our website for the programs you need, or flip through the pages below to stumble upon that magical class that is sure to feed your passion.
