Outdoor Odyssey: High Desert High Jinks

Outdoor Odyssey: Thar be Whales!

3/28. Grades 2-5. Did you know that March is prime whale watching along the Oregon Coast? Today we are headed south in search of whales and other fun things. We will take in the amazing views and fragrant greenery at Shore Acres State Park. Then it is north to the Marine Life Center in Charleston, Oregon where we will get a close up view of our ocean friends. Our last stop will be a tour of the Umpqua River Lighthouse and Museum in Reedsport.
