MEGGA Hunt is almost here! Springs is celebrating spring by making paper flowers. These are a lot like paper snowflakes, but more colorful!
First, gather your supplies. You need colorful paper, a pencil, scissors, tape and yarn or string.
Grab your paper.
Fold it in half.
Fold it in quarters.
Fold a loose edge toward the thick folded edge, making a triangle shape.
Trim off the excess paper that isn’t part of the triangle.
Start cutting your shape. Rounding off the triangle corners makes a more flower-like shape. You can cut shapes in the folded edge to have cutouts in the middle of the petals, but make sure to leave parts of the folded edge intact or your flower will fall apart!
Carefully unfold your flower.
Springs made a bunch and taped them on a string to hang over his fireplace at home!
