Have a blast during winter break! Kids can enjoy arts and crafts, sports and STEM projects in our winter break camps, keeping them busy and learning during their time off.

TRBO Spring Break Camp

Ages 8-18. Amp up your Spring Break with skills and drills in 4 fun-filled sessions featuring prizes and games. Each day we focus on a skill area along with innovative ball handling drills to help bring each athlete’s skills to the next level.

3/25: One-on-one moves and ball handling

3/28: Finishes at the rim and ball handling

Spring Break Camp

Grades K-5. Keep busy during your week off from school with a variety of activities from arts and crafts to group games, swimming and field trips. Experienced staff keep kids safe, active and engaged. Choose your days or attend them all. Participants are split into age-appropriate groups.

Outdoor Odyssey: Thar be Whales!

Grades 2-5. Did you know that March is prime whale watching along the Oregon Coast? Today we are headed south in search of whales and other fun things. We will take in the amazing views and fragrant greenery at Shore Acres State Park. Then it is north to the Marine Life Center in Charleston, Oregon where we will get a close up view of our ocean friends. Our last stop will be a tour of the Umpqua River Lighthouse and Museum in Reedsport.

Outdoor Odyssey: High Desert High Jinks

Grades 2-5. Our odyssey will take us to the other side of the Cascades to the high desert. We will explore raging waterfalls at Salt Creek Falls, pristine glacial creeks above Odell Lake and conclude our journey with a tour of the High Desert Museum in Bend, Oregon.

Our Great State!

Grades 2-5. Spend your no school day in Salem exploring what makes our state so great! Our first stop will be the Willamette Heritage Center where we will get an up close look of what it was like to be one of Oregon’s first settlers. Then it is off to the state capital building for a sneak peak of our government in action. Our day will conclude with a trip across the Wheatland ferry and a spin on the Salem carousel.

Anthony Newman’s Multi Sports Camp

Entering Grades 1-4. Anthony Newman’s Sports Camps is proud to offer our Multi-Sport Camp for young athletes who are not quite ready to focus on just one sport. This camp will serve as an introduction to the world of sports for children just starting out and as an alternative to specialty camps. ANSC is a young athlete’s dream come true offering basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, spikeball, indoor and outdoor recreational games, etc.

TRBO Holiday Hoop Camp

Ages 8-18.Stay in shape over this holiday season with TRBO’s Holiday Hoop Camp! Pick and choose from our separate 3-hour sessions or join us for all 12 sessions! Every session we will focus on the specific topics listed above and will also incorporate ball handling and agility work. Please bring your own ball if you have one. Achieving your New Year’s resolution starts here! Come get better with us!

Classes cover ball handling plus the following skills:

  • 12/27 morning: 1-on-1 moves and defense
  • 12/27 afternoon: Separation moves and scoring
  • 12/28 morning: Getting open, passing, using screens
  • 12/28 afternoon: Shooting and competitive drills
  • 1/2 morning: 1-on-1 moves and defense
  • 1/2 afternoon: Attacks and finishes
  • 1/3 morning: Getting open, passing, using screens
  • 1/3 afternoon: Separation moves and scoring
  • 1/4 morning: Shooting and competitive drills
  • 1/4 afternoon: Offensive attack moves and finishes

Price is $35 in-district, $42 out-of-district for each session.

Morning sessions are 9am-noon. Afternoon sessions are 1-4pm.

LEGO®Winter Break Camps

Ages 6-11. Kids dive into Play-Well TEKnologies camps and exercise their innate gift for building. They come away understanding fundamental principles of engineering and physics. The experience boosts their confidence, creativity and ability to collaborate. Kids can’t get enough!

STEM Challenge with LEGO®Camp, Morning sessions, 9am-12pm: Turn on your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of Legos. Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects such as snowmobiles, towers and catapults. Design and build as never before, and explore your wildest ideas in a supportive environment. An experienced instructor will challenge new and returning students to engineer at the next level. There is no prerequisite for this course.
