Concerts in the Park 2026
Enjoy live music under the trees! This outdoor concert series at Island Park features a new band each night across a variety of genres. Bring along blankets or chairs to enjoy the music. You can purchase beer, wine, and concessions, or bring your own picnic dinner, fillable water bottle, and sealed non-alcoholic beverages.
- Thursday and Friday evenings at Island Park, from July 30-Aug. 14.
- Admission is $5 per night or free when you bring two non-perishable food cans to donate. Donations support the food pantry at Willamalane Adult Activity Center.
Concert Lineup
Gates and concessions open at 5:30 p.m., and concerts begin at 6 p.m. Each evening includes two sets of live music with a 20-minute intermission.

Event Day Details
Getting There
- Street Parking: Find street parking near the West B Street entrance to Island Park. Accessible parking is available at the B Street entrance.
- Shuttle Parking: There is parking available at Booth Kelly (303 S 5th Street), with a shuttle running to and from the event every 15 minutes.
- Ride the Bus: Take the bus to Springfield Station and walk to Island Park. Check back to get a benefit code to redeem your free ride to the event. Valid for redemption and use only on event day. Learn more.
- Ride your Bike: Bicycles must be walked through the park during the event. There will be bike racks available at the D Street entrance to store your bike while you enjoy the event. Please bring your own bike lock.
- Use Bike Share: PeaceHealth Rides now has locations in Springfield! Take a bike and park in Island Park or at a nearby hub. See the bike locations here.
Event Rules
All event attendees must follow Ordinance 100 rules while in the park. This includes:
- Alcohol: No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park. Beer and wine will be available for purchase inside the event area. There will also be a station on-site with cold water to fill empty water bottles.
- Pets: Dogs are allowed but must be leashed and under control at all times. Please clean up after your pet.
- Smoking: Willamalane is a smoke-free park district.
Accessibility
Willamalane is dedicated to providing accessibility and inclusivity for all event attendees. Find information on specific accommodations.
- Accessible Parking: There is accessible parking available off the West B St entrance. The shuttle from Booth Kelly is also accessible.
- Paths and Surfaces: There are wheelchair-accessible concrete paths throughout the park. However, some areas have compact and uneven surfaces, including transitions from concrete to grass. Designated accessible seating areas are available for those who need them.
- Shaded Areas and Open Spaces: Shade is plentiful at this park, including designated quiet areas away from crowds and activities.
- Calm-Down Area: Enjoy a dedicated calm-down area with shade, sensory play, and quiet activities.

Wednesday Night Music at Island Park
(6:30-7:30 p.m.)
Local community groups are hosting four free performances at Island Park on select Wednesday evenings in July and August. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy music from community bands. Admission is free.
