Children's Celebration

Enjoy Children's Celebration

Children’s Celebration is fun for the entire family. You’ll find resources and fun interactive activities, including live performances and the Willamalane train from Willamalane, community partners, and exhibitors. You and your leashed pets can roam the PetFest section of Children’s Celebration to explore pet-friendly resources and organizations.

  • Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation.

Participate as a volunteer

Help with Children's Celebration as a volunteer! Volunteers will help with tasks like setting up, decorating, checking in vendors, food service, and more.

Getting There

Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or ride the bus to the event.

  • Ride the bus to Springfield Station for free, then walk to Island Park. To get your free ride, use benefit code: FWCV-MJYT in the UMO Mobility App. Learn more.
  • A bike valet sponsored by Springfield BPAC will be available from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. to keep your bike safe while you explore the event. The bike valet will be located on the patio of Willamalane Adult Activity Center.
