Programs for Middle Schoolers
Give them the freedom to explore new interests, build confidence, and connect with friends. Whether they're trying something new or developing a favorite hobby, Willamalane offers programs that keep middle schoolers and teens active, creative, and engaged.
Classes for Junior Kids
Junior programs challenge tweens and young teens with projects and instruction designed for their growing abilities. These classes are typically designed for students between 10 and 13 years old, though ages may vary slightly depending on the program.
New for youth recreation! Youth recreation classes now require the same prerequisite as childcare programs. To make registration faster and easier, complete your School Year 2026–27 Pass before registering for classes.
Middle School Sports
Your middle schooler will develop athletic skills, teamwork, and sports mastery in the convenience of their school gym. This program is made possible through a partnership with Springfield Public Schools. It is open to all kids, regardless of skill level or ability. Game and meet schedules are released during the second week of the season.
