Children’s Celebration Event on Saturday, June 29, at Island Park

Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation

SPRINGFIELD – Willamalane Park and Recreation District will hold its annual Children’s Celebration event on Saturday, June 29, at Island Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event offers fun for all family members, including interactive exhibits and activities. Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation.

Attendees can expect fun activities, live performances, and helpful resources from Willamalane, community partners, and exhibitors. The event will offer a variety of booths and family-friendly activities, including games, balloon animals, big trucks, a magic show, martial arts demonstrations, and much more! The event also features four scheduled stage events, which are as follows: 

1.   10:30 AM David’s Magic Show!

2.   11:15 AM TBD

3.   12:15 PM Raices de Oregon Folkloric Dance

4.   1:15 PM Free Pile Sirkus

Children’s Celebration is presented by Lithia Toyota and sponsored by Dari Mart, PacificSource, and GOBHI Foster Care.

Food donations will benefit the food pantry at Willamalane Adult Activity Center and Willamalane’s Little Free Pantries around Springfield. Pet food donations will also be accepted.
