Historical Village at Dorris Ranch
The historical village at Dorris Ranch is an immersive interpretive experience that brings to life the rich cultural heritage of the people who lived and worked on the property that is now Dorris Ranch. It is open to the public during regular park hours, except when the space is rented.
Living History Tours and Field Trips
Willamalane's Living History program concluded its operations in the spring of 2025. Instead, Willamalane has partnered with a local organization to offer educational and culture-based programming at Dorris Ranch.
Starting on Sept. 23 2025, Singing Creek Educational Center, a living history nonprofit in Lane County, will host field trips, special events, and more for families and classroom teachers. To book an experience with them, please visit their website.

Native American Plank House
This 20-foot-by-16-foot plank house is built of cedar planks, like the homes Native Americans built in this area before 1820.
Trapper’s Cabin
This replica of an 1830s fur trapper’s cabin helps illustrate this important era of Oregon history.
