Willamalane Seeks Applicants for Board of Directors Position

Willamalane Park and Recreation District is seeking applicants to fill one open position on its board of directors. The vacancy follows Director Greg James’ decision to step down from the board on Jan. 14. Qualified applicants must be registered voters residing within the district's boundaries. The application deadline is Wednesday, Feb. 4. Interested candidates can apply online at willamalane.org/board. 

The board of directors will appoint a new member through an application and interview process, with interviews tentatively set for the board meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 11. 

Willamalane board members review and adopt the annual budget, determine policy for the district, and participate in regular board meetings held at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at Bob Keefer Center and virtually at willamalane.org/board.
