Soak up summer vibes and enjoy a new band each night at this outdoor concert series at Island Park. On July 16, catch Connectarine, a female‑fronted Americana-rock ensemble delivering richly layered harmonies and intricate string textures, perfect for a summer evening. Bring along blankets or chairs to enjoy the music. You can purchase beer, wine, and concessions, or bring your own picnic dinner and sealed non-alcoholic beverages.
- Wednesday, July 16 at Island Park
- Gates and concessions open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 6 p.m. The show includes two sets of live music with a 20-minute intermission.
- Admission is $3 per night or free with a non-perishable food donation. All donations support the food pantry at Willamalane Adult Activity Center.

Beer, wine, and concessions are available for sale. You are also welcome to bring picnic dinners and sealed non-alcoholic drinks.
Getting There
- Pedestrian Entrance: Plan to use the South A Street entrance or the West D Street entrance to Island Park.
- Overflow Parking: There is parking available at Booth Kelly (303 S 5th Street).
- Street Parking: Find street parking near the West D Street entrance.
- Ride the Bus: Take the bus to Springfield Station and walk to Island Park. To get your free ride, use benefit code: LTD-Y4C4-9FDV in the UMO Mobility App. Learn more.
- Ride your Bike: The City of Springfield is hosting a free bike valet at the D St entrance to the park 5:30-9 p.m. to keep your bike safe during the event. This is made possible in partnership with Cascadia Mobility. Bicycles must be walked through the park during the event.
