Willamalane Park is a large, 14-acre park surrounding Willamalane Park Swim Center. This park is home to several outdoor amenities available all year.

Weyerhaeuser McKenzie Natural Area
Located along the McKenzie River, the Weyerhaeuser McKenzie Natural Area contains a mile-long informal trail through riparian woodland. This area can be accessed from the gravel parking lot off of Marcola Rd.
West D Street Greenway
The West D Street Greenway is a 15-acre natural area with a 1.3-mile-long paved multi-use path along the Willamette River. This path connects to the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path at Eastgate Woodlands. Along this paved path is The Dellinger Trail, an aggregate and bark surface running trail that connects to Pre's Trail.
Volunteer Park
Volunteer Park is a 6-acre neighborhood park in East Springfield featuring a small play structure and paved paths.
A half-acre at the park’s northern edge is home to the native grasses, sedges, rushes, and wildflowers of a Willamette Valley wetland. The planted wetland is consistent with wetlands that were historically present in the Willamette Valley—it has standing water during the early part of the growing season but dries up by June or July.
Tyson Park
Tyson Park is a small, 4-acre park with open space centrally located in Springfield.

Thurston Park
Thurston Park is a 5-acre neighborhood park with grassy open space, a basketball court, play equipment, and paved pathways connecting the neighborhood to Thurston High School. There are two park entrances: 6329 F Street and 747 64th Street
Thurston Hills Natural Area
Thurston Hills Natural Area provides 665 acres of land dedicated to recreation and habitat restoration in east Springfield. This area opened to the public in 2017, providing a growing trail system for hikers, mountain bikers, and nature lovers.

Nestled in the Thurston area of Springfield next to Lively Park, the indoor water park offers something for everyone. Enjoy a wave pool, kiddie pool, water slide, six-lane, 25-yard lap pool, steaming spa pool, community room, and outdoor sun deck. The wave pool is open during waterpark swim times only.
Ruff Park and Magnolia Arboretum
This 10-acre park features a paved multi-use path, open green space, and hundreds of magnolia trees. This park was named and dedicated in honor of Wallace M. Ruff Jr., who tragically passed away in 1989.
Royal Delle Park
Discover Royal Delle Park, a charming 3-acre oasis nestled in Hayden Bridge. This neighborhood gem features an accessible paved walking path, ample open green space for gatherings, a basketball half-court for games, and a delightful playground for children and families.
