SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Willamalane Park and Recreation District is seeking community members to join its budget committee. As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to review the district’s financial plans, including the annual budget, and provide recommendations to the Willamalane Board of Directors about revenues and expenditures. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your financial or budgetary background and make a difference in your local community.

The budget committee comprises five district board members and an equal number of citizens. Committee meetings will start in late April, and the appointed candidate must be available to attend all scheduled meetings:

Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. - Budget Committee Meeting
Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. - Budget Committee Meeting
Wednesday, May 16, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. - Budget Committee Meeting

If you want to join the Budget Committee, apply at willamalane.org/budget. The application submission deadline is Sunday, March 31, 2024.
