Join a special afternoon at Camp Putt that benefits Willamalane's food pantry. On Sept. 12-14, bring three cans of food per person as admission for a round of mini-golf at Camp Putt.
Springfield, Ore. — This week, more than 40 high school soccer teams will play at the 2025 Les Schwab Soccer Showcase, a two-day jamboree-style tournament. The girls’ teams will take the field on Thursday, Aug. 28, followed by the boys’ teams on Friday, Aug.
There’s something powerful about the everyday moments that shape our community. A high-five after a tough workout. The way a child looks up to a camp counselor. A neighbor’s wave as you pass on the trail. Parks and recreation aren’t just places or programs. They’re how we connect.
In 2024, 360 volunteers participated in 94 opportunities with the district, totaling over 10,778 volunteer service hours. That’s the equivalent of five full-time employees working 40-hour weeks for a year!
Last year, kids scanned their 1Passes 69,442 times at local Springfield and Eugene destinations, including local swimming pools, a museum, a trampoline park, a mini golf course, and a science center.
