SPRINGFIELD – Willamalane Park and Recreation District will hold its annual Children’s Celebration event on Saturday, June 29, at Island Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event offers fun for all family members, including interactive exhibits and activities.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Willamalane invites the community to a free Fitness Expo on June 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Willamalane Adult Activity Center. The event will offer a variety of health and wellness activities.

The mountain bike trails at Thurston Hills Natural Area are open for riding as of Tuesday, May 28.

City of Eugene Recreation and Willamalane are again partnering to bring the 1Pass program to Eugene and Springfield youth, and this year a couple changes to the sales process will make it easier for families to get their tickets for summer fun.&

Celebrate May is Bike Month with a free bike helmet. Willamalane is giving away 200 free helmets to anyone who needs them.

Learn to Ride is a free community event happening next week in Springfield. This event aims to get kids and community members comfortable on bikes so they can use them as a reliable form of transportation.
