City of Eugene Recreation and Willamalane are again partnering to bring the 1Pass program to Eugene and Springfield youth, and this year a couple changes to the sales process will make it easier for families to get their tickets for summer fun.&

Celebrate May is Bike Month with a free bike helmet. Willamalane is giving away 200 free helmets to anyone who needs them.

Learn to Ride is a free community event happening next week in Springfield. This event aims to get kids and community members comfortable on bikes so they can use them as a reliable form of transportation.

Willamalane Park and Recreation District is opening three more parks beginning Saturday, March 2. 

Willamalane is preparing to plant more than 500 native trees and shrubs in riparian areas like Georgia Pacific Natural Area this spring. Each new plant will be surrounded by newspaper that will act as a weed barrier and allow the new plants to thrive.
